Hello, I’m Vikalp Bhatnagar, the author of Chilla-i-Kalan: The Winters of Kashmir. It’s a pleasure to welcome you to this quiet corner of my world—a space shaped by stories, silences, and a deep curiosity about what moves us as human beings.

I hail from Delhi and come from a background in engineering, a field that trained me to find structure in chaos and patterns in complexity. Today, I work as a Senior Analyst—decoding data, building analytical products, and exploring the intersection of logic and insight. But beyond the spreadsheets and models, I've always been drawn to the unstructured beauty of storytelling.

Chilla-i-Kalan was born from my fascination with the haunting stillness of Kashmir’s coldest season and the quiet resilience of those who endure it. It’s not just a story—it’s an experience.
